Dwory renamed to Synthos with two manufacturing companies: Synthos Dwory and Synthos Kralupy
The installation is started up and production of XPS plates, used for insulation in the construction industry – begins.

Opening a factory in Kralupy for butadiene production. The plant is an outcome of joint venture with Unipetrol. Synthos share amounts to 49% of the enterprise.
